Ok, so what’s going on in here ?

Rotting Roots is a passion project made by a guy from Poland in his 20s that blends art inspired by extreme metal (black metal, hardcore punk, goregrind, deathcore, etc.), other “heavy hitting” genres of music like industrial hard techno that inspire me, dark humour and memes into a hot mess that you can have on your cloths, stickers, phone case and whatever comes to my whimsical mind.

If you find my creations aesthetically pleasing you probably are in the same spot as me – I’m unable to find anything worth buying outside the merch from my fav bands in order to express myself so I decided to crate something (this hot pile of garbage) for myself and maybe a few people that want to get something for themselves (or for someone that they know) in a similar aesthetic as the mentioned merch.

Creative process

Everything you see on this site is made with my greasy hands and bald head, from the site itself, logo, clothing design and rest of the items. As some people may ask – this site is AI free. I do not use it for creative process nor I want the content of this site to be used to feed another garbage model (just wanted to clear that out of the way).

Tools I use to make what you see:

– Sketchbook/paper or random scraps of it + some sort of ink
– M1 iPad with Procreate
– Affinity Studio on my PC
